Furiosa - A Mad Max Saga

Strictly speaking, the new 'Furiosa - A Mad Max Saga' isn’t technically a Mad Max movie, but with its apocalyptic setting, George Miller directing, and a plethora of wild car and bike chases, it feels every bit a part of the franchise ?

Starring Hollywood stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth, the real showstoppers are the numerous custom motorcycles in the film, including BMWs, Harleys, and a Norton Commando!

One standout bike is a bonkers, radial-engine chopper ridden by Hemsworth’s villain, Dr. Dementus. This bike is a modified JRL Cycles’ ‘REM’ (Radial Engine Motorcycle) - one of just six built 20 years ago, powered by a 2800cc, seven-cylinder Rotec R2800 aero engine, bought specifically for the film.

Another highlight is Hemsworth’s wild motorcycle-pulled chariot, featuring THREE BMW R18s. In fact, BMW Motorrad Australia provided 25 motorcycles for the film - BMW's biggest-ever involvement in a film or TV production by number of vehicles - including R nineT and R 1250 GS models and worked closely with the filmmakers throughout the process.

The movie is a visual spectacle with adrenaline-fueled action sequences—a must-watch for fans of the series and motorcycle enthusiasts alike ?
