OK - some progress in between holding down two jobs and looking after a rambunctious 6 year old....

  I've been obsessively cleaning the cases over the past few days and bought a set of dental picks to clean out the nooks and crannies.

I even got them through the dishwasher on a high temperature wash. The oven and dishwasher do smell a bit funny but I think the cases have really have come up well

Today I've managed to steal some oven time and have focussed on getting the timing side bearing and the gearbox bearing and seal housed.

Tomorrow - if all goes well I have to try and remove the old drive side bearing shell from the cases. I'm not going to drill unless I absolutely have to. I don't weld so its the oven or maybe the blowtorch if I'm not home alone.
