I’m already able to keep riding now, but I had this problem:
After over 100 km of smooth riding, the bike suddenly started bogging, losing power, and the engine would die as soon as I pulled the clutch, even while still rolling. After a 5-minute stop it would start again, but the cycle just kept repeating.
I swapped the CDI unit, freshly soldered the stator to RR wires, changed fuel hoses, checked one spark plug per cylinder — both looked fine — no air leaks on the airbox, various multimeter checks, and fuel pressure while idling was fine. It’s a Facet fuel pump not even 2 years old. In the end, I managed to keep going by switching the fuel tap to reserve and will sort it out in Berlin, my next stop.
