A lark in the dark

What I’ve learned the hard way - be very careful where you put your kickstand down in slotted wooden bridges like this, especially in the dark.
The kickstand foot can go between the spaces of the planks and it is very hard to get it back out.
I learned that on a previous trip where I had to actually cut the wood with a big knife to get the kickstand back out
