Once round the block
I live at the head of a dead end valley, there is a great loop ride that I do alot when I'm only gifted short window of opportunity.
you can run up one side of the valley through ancient farming villages, drop down to the base of the valley and up the other side into the luxury ski resorts of Courchevel and Meribel.
the roads are all so different and you can switch it up a bit by using the main road that runs straight up the centre of the valley and run the route as a figure 8.
it's a totally different route depending on the direction you take around the course.
it's also very different depending on the bike I chose to ride as well.
