Adventures of YB125 in Peru, part 6

Let's continue!
Further from Cuzco we went to Arequipa. But as usual, we chose not the easiest way. Adventure begins with a rainy season! :) Wonderful primers turn into mashed potatoes, sometimes it is necessary to move with a speed of 15-20 km / h, trying to keep the motorcycle slipping off the road both in 4 hands and 4 legs . And unpleasant falls happens in such moments . Fortunately, everything was done with small bruises.

Our way

That's how we got our first five-thousand-meter pass! A steep climb with large stones interspersed with sand, a fall - and for the first time we unload a motorcycle to get a less steep climb

A village woman sifts the wheat in the wind

A miracle near the road

There are many lamas in the highlands

And alpacas

On such passes, you especially appreciate the sound of a motorcycle) The sun here is deceptive and the air temperature can change to negative in a minute!

Hot springs became like a saving from fatique. You can spend there hours! Many of them are not tourist as well as not expensive.

Starting from the upper tops of the Cotahuashi canyon, we met with what impressed us more than the Cheops pyramid, than the terracotta army from the vicinity of Xi'an than the Great Wall of China and the Teutihuacan pyramids in Mexico ... The incarnation of the Inca and pre-Ural times began, and they are still used today.

It's amazing! The height of the side of each of them ranges from about one to two meters, each wall is lined with stones, each (!) Stone in each wall remembers someone's hands.

Local women are too shy to be photographed. They say that they are dirty. We do not think so at all!

Surroundings of the deepest canyon in the world keep many miracles

The main reason for choosing an incredible hook was the Paysahist National Park and its main inhabitant, the Andean condor. The largest flying bird on the Earth or the bird with the greatest wingspan. And it reaches four meters without 20 cm! It's like a sequoia in the bird world)

Thoro Muerto petroglyphs were another reason that determined our road. More than 5 thousand stones with a variety of drawings.

But it is not the end))) to be continued.....
