45000 km around Latin America. Bolivia. Photo report.

So, it was decided to continue the journey in Latin America on motorcycles.
An additional intrigue is that we did not have any experience with motorcycles and motorcycles became an attractive adventure for us. :)

After studying the motor market in Santa Cruz, we chose Chinese motorcycles with a 150-cc engine. There are a lot of such motorcycles on the roads of Latin America and other continents. They are becoming more common in other country under different brands. The reason for this is low cost and relative reliability. Motorcycle + helmet + numbers cost us $ 1200 each.
Buying a motorcycle in Bolivia is easy. You come, choose, you pay and you wait while the seller will issue numbers. It takes 10 days. At this time, the motorcycle is on hand, you can drive, but if you're a gringo, moto without numbers can serve as an excuse for extorting money from the police, although sellers insist that you can ride with only purchase documents.
During the waiting numbers we learned how to drive a motorcycle. It's easier for me - I have a driving experience and a couple of years ago I rode DRZ400 for 2 hours))). But my girlfriend had no driving experience.
The first 200 km of asphalt, after which the normal Bolivian road began - serpentines, small and large pebbles, dust pits, sand, steep slopes and descents, fords across rivers and other endurist joys.
Since part of Bolivia is located on a high plateau, in the order of things, sets of altitudes are almost up to 5000 meters above sea level, which means imminent attacks of mountain sickness, as well as unstable motor work.
For the three months that we spent in Bolivia, we crossed about 5000 km. We moved not every day, but combined with the study of interesting things, sometimes lingering in pleasant places for up to a week.

There are good roads in Bolivia too. In general, the theme of road construction is increasingly moving around the world, which leads to an increase in the flow of tourists, and as a result, the disappearance of the local "wild" color.
