Sv650 Battery

I just can't remove the battery of my sv650. This weird plastic cover thing on top of the battery just won't come off.
Anybody of you had the same issues (probably not lol) and has some tips how to remove it? It the video he just pulls it off like it's nothing but somehow that's not how it works on my bike
