At a recent motor show in Frankfurt, Mercedes-AMG presented a truly unique and phenomenal Project One. Any car of this format can be called a unique one, but this old expression gets a new meaning, when we talk about the Project One – for the first time, under a stunning body, this car brings the very latest and efficient, fully-fledged Formula 1 hybrid technology of the 2015 model from the race track to the road. The 1.6-litre V6 hybrid petrol engine with a resource of 50,000 kilometers, combined with four electric motors allows you to produce over 1000 hp. Acceleration from zero to 200 km/h takes under six seconds and a top speed reaches 350 km/h.
Is it cool? Certainly! But the 1500 hp Bugatti Chiron is faster - its top speed is well beyond 400 km / h and, by the way, the monster has already set the world record. Piloted by famous Juan Pablo Montoya the car accelerated from 0 to 400 kilometers per hour, then he stomped the brakes hard enough and did the entire cycle in just 41.96 seconds. The World record in this discipline! From start to finish, Montoya covered 3112 m. And what about the unforgettable race of Kenan Sofuoglu on the Ninja H2R? Let’s remind it.
Last year the Turkish racer hit top speed of 400 km/h in 26 seconds on the Kawasaki Ninja H2R, which, by the way, isn’t street legal. Bugatti took much more: Juan Pablo reached the speed of 400 km/h in 32.6 seconds. The motorcycle is ahead, but, of course, both representatives of different worlds are amazing with their potential!
