The Milwaukee company is looking ahead. As well as other leading brands, Harley-Davidson made a huge effort towards the future unveiling its new LiveWire. But the joy didn’t last long. The customers aren’t happy with the price. $30,000 is a huge price tag to ask for a motorcycle that only goes about 100 miles per charge. After debuting the LiveWire, Harley-Davidson showcased two new small electric bike concepts, which are yet to be named. As the company says, one concept is designed for the city, and the other is ‘engineered for anywhere’, and now we have videos of both of them in action.
The first video is short but action-filled, it shows X Games (an extreme sports event) gold medalist, Jacko Strong, going hard on the off-road-oriented concept electric bike. The rider says that the instant torque gives it advantage over combustion-engine-powered motorcycles and went on to express how he would like to ride it in the dirt.
The second videohas X Games host, Jack Mitrani, cruise around town at a much slower pace.Mitrani also appreciates the instant power delivery of the electric bike and adds how quiet and smooth the bike is. While both bikes are still prototypes, Harley-Davidson has a chance to significantly improve the finish levels on the final products. And we are also looking forward Harley’s more-affordable electric range.
