New 2020 Moto Guzzi V7 III Racer review
27 Feb 2019 Others

Moto Guzzi has a new 2020 V7 III Racer Limited Edition. You might think, they’ve already had a V7 version in Moto Guzzi’s US lineup. But the terms “limited edition” and “available only in the US and in Canada” make the “all-new” 2020 V7 III Racer stand out from the V7 crowd.

Mechanically, the V7 III Racer Limited Edition is the same as the other V7 III Racer. It has a 750cc, 90° V-twin that makes 52 hp and 44 lb-ft of torque. What’s not the same as other V7 III motorcycles are the Öhlins shock absorbers, which should give the model a sportier ride. There are set-back footpegs that are machined from solid billets, a lightened steering stem, and a steering yoke guard.

What’s else special about another version of the V7 III?The V7 Racer Limited Edition receives a proper racing livery that works to remind you of the RossoCorsa scheme that was inspired by the 1971 V7 “red frame.”

A leather strap in the middle of the tank matches the diamond-stitched brown leather seat. And speaking of the seat, the 2020 V7 III Racer might look like a single-rider racer, but it’s actually a motorcycle that can be used for two-up riding. The seat can accommodate a passenger. All you’ll need to do is remove the little seat cover and you’re ready for a passenger. Plus Moto Guzzi put rear foot pegs on the bike so two people can actually ride.

The bikes will arrive in the U.S. in June and the pricing will start at $9,990.
