From the moment it was released a decade ago I've wanted to own a BMW S1000RR. I've always favored European bikes and when BMW finally made a 1000cc sportsbike I was hooked. Even the odd shaped headlights in the first generation made me fall in love with it even more.

The new model has changed that and made the headlights symmetrical, and it does look mighty sexy. Would I add it to my ultimate garage, yes It would be the first one in there. A 1000cc inline 4 with an acclaimed 205hp, quick shifter, auto blipper, full TFT dash and four riding modes. One of the most important aspects of the S1000RR is that it's still one the most user friendly sports bikes to ride on the road. I think my colour choice would be red. Yeah I know, not the most obvious choice and a definite step to the left but that's me, different to most.
