Getting to and from

Doing rallies is one of the adventures I like to partake when riding in Australia.
Getting out there, camping with mates, getting home. But highways is not my preferred path.
Take the road less traveled.
There is less traffic, and less cops.
Often better scenery and always a riding experience that is much more pleasurable.

Not a car in sight

All to myself and going well

Sometimes I take a side track

And a whole new world opens up

The steed at a trig point lookout.

Blue mountains, 8 months after bush fires, still bare but recovering

A few of the boys packing up in the morning

I agree. The road less traveled is far more interesting. It is what bikes were made for!

Russell Taylor, Well we all know the original concept was to mobilise the working class.
These days motorcycle ownership has become a lifestyle choice. I enjoy bushwalking. When riding I am in my environment much more so than a car. I also believe the daily riding of a motorcycle for personal conveyance is righteous. No distraction, minimal impact, in touch with the world.

Uncle Longbeard, I believe it is. Not a strong follower on details anymore. I just get a bike and ride it. Do the research when making a choice then I put my efforts into where to go.
