OK as promised and from the warmth of the house here is the back brake in more detail.
At it's deepest it is 68.3 mm so that's about 31 mm from pad face to rear of calliper. Regards...

The head is back from the shop - new valves, valve guides and a skim were in order.
Barrel was also given a rebore to +20 and matched to my low compression Tiger pistons. I'm now pondering on whether to get the head stove enamelled black like the rocker covers, cylinders and crankca...
