The end of my 125cc days ?
2013 was my return to the world of motorbikes, for the price of a year on public transport I had the freedom to go everywhere in my own time. As I've said before 125cc are a great way of seeing the world around you (to a point) not the fastest bikes in the world maxing out at 70mph (automatic) but fantastic time savers. I've had some ups and downs over the years but I will be doing my last 18.5 miles on a 125cc next week when I take my scooter to swap it out for a 650cc ?, the best part of passing your test is the world of bigger bikes opens up and test rides have you begging for more. I spent the day last week riding kawasaki and Honda's after making some checks on insurance and what would work for me as an every day bike and after a lot of Internet time and looking around I took out a 650cc, 700cc, 800cc and a 1000cc. with a lot of clear thinking I chose not to go over 650cc for now as my inexperienced riding on manual bikes my lead to costly mistakes. After everything had been taken in to account I looked at comfort and style and very happily settled on.................... A....... kawasaki Versys SE 650 2017 edition.
Not a bad first big bike and one of only a few that stayed in the back of my mind long after I got off it.
An update an my review will follow soon along with a few photos ?.
I honestly can't wait to join the real world of motorbiking and start some new adventures.
