New Ducati Scrambler, only 800 Units

For the new trim, Ducati has collaborated with US-based clothing brand Fasthouse. Inspired by the racebike piloted by Jordan Graham at the Mint 400 and one that won in the Hooligan class, the Desert Sled Fasthouse edition gets Mint 400-like livery, an 860mm high seat with an anti-slip cover, and a Ducati Red-painted trellis frame. Lastly, each bike wears a small plate on the frame with its particular serial number from among the 800 units.

That aside, Ducati hasn’t tinkered at all with the engine or the underpinnings. Like the standard variant, the Fasthouse edition is powered by an 803cc L-twin air-cooled motor that puts out 74PS and 66.2Nm of torque. Getting things in motion is a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch.

The bike is suspended on 46mm fully adjustable USD forks and a Kayaba monoshock with 200mm travel, preload, and rebound adjustability. Stopping power comes from a 330mm front disc and 245mm rear disc with Bosch cornering ABS as standard. These are the same elements that the regular variant of the Desert Sled sports.

Holding everything in place is the same tubular steel trellis frame you’d find on the standard trim. The bike sits on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres.

In the UK, Ducati has priced the 2021 Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse edition at 10,295 GBP which is 300 GBP more than the standard trim Desert Sled priced at 9,995 GBP. And that’s quite a premium to pay for a variant with mere cosmetic updates.
