France banned lane splitting, how does your government view this?

Some roads in France trialled lane splitting, but accident numbers for motorcycles and scooters increased over the 5-year test period - so it's now banned.

Thousands of riders formed massive convoys and even blocked several roads in protest of the new ruling. The resulting gathering and traffic were posted to social media under the hashtag #MotardsEnColere (#AngryBikers).
