I need some advice, please ?

So this happened plastic from clothes melted. What's the best way to remove and not leave scratches?? Hot method or cold??? I'm assuming the pipes are aluminum. Maybe it would burn off, but I'm sure it will still look gross.

    are you a noob? Ride it and let it burn off then hit it with 0000 steel wool. Your pipe is discolored shoo its going to end up polishing it clean which will be noticeably different. If it was me , I'd simply wrap pipes do it never happens again. Plus it looks nicer.
