July 19th ride to Radium, Fernie and back home on Hwy 22.

It was a nice day to head out and put another 780 km on my 84 VF750F Interceptor! It's amazing how this bike just keeps going and still has lots of power when needed.

Today's ride was out on the 1A to Banff, then across to Radium Hot Springs, down to Fernie, through Crowsnest Pass and then up Hwy 22 and back home.

It was not without its challenges. There were 2 traffic holdup, one just west of Cochrane where they are chip sealing the 1A which caused at lest a 30 minute delay and another in Crowsnest Pass where they are paving. This caused another 45 minute delay and traffic was backed up for at least 10 km heading westbound.

Other than the above, lots of traffic and a forest fire near Cranbrook, it was still great to get out as I think my bike has been feeling neglected lately.
