The GasGas brand will disappear at the end of 2024

And Tech3 will compete in KTM Orange again for 2025

Tech3 KTM will have one of the strongest pairs for 2025, with Maverick Viñales and Enea Bastianini competing together. However, it won't be in the colors of GasGas.

Maverick Viñales and Enea Bastianini will ride factory-spec KTM RC16 bikes in 2025 and 2026. However, the GasGas branding will be retired, and Tech3 will return to the Orange color scheme they used in 2021 and 2022. While the Moto3 Tech3 Team will still have the GasGas stickers on them in 2025

This was confirmed by KTM Boss Hubert Trunkenpolz in a conversation with SpeedWeek.

"First and foremost, the decision to have the Tech3 team start again under KTM from 2025 expresses a brand offensive. We agreed that at this point in time and with the options available to us then, we would put the KTM brand forward. We want to strengthen our 'Ready to Race' philosophy in every respect, and this applies not only to racing, but also to product development. It's about emphasizing our core values again - that's why we're fully committed to orange in MotoGP.

It is important to understand that we are in no way weakening the importance of GASGAS. On the contrary, we want to create more clarity in positioning through greater differentiation. The new direction is now intended to create even greater loyalty to the products that are aimed particularly at younger buyers.

At the moment, GASGAS's communication is working excellently thanks to a sensational Pedro Acosta. The plan to initially make the brand much better known is working. When it comes to pure performance in MotoGP from 2025 onwards, we are fully committed to the performance brand KTM. In Moto3, where we are concentrating heavily on young talent, GASGAS will continue to play an important role."
