My Sept 81 RS has been an adventure bike for a good long while now.

Much better than laying pristine and dormant in a time capsule garage. After about 22 years it got to looking like the pic. Mind you, it was just back from another outback NSW Australia safari. This bike is an absolute performer, almost anywhere.

And then thanks to the GFC, and good timing on German Ebay, I eventually did this to it, erasing those 22 years, at least cosmetically.
If it looks like pic 1 again in another 20 or so years, I'm good with that.
