Today's ride was a bit shorter than I planned

It was colder than I expected up in the Sierra mountains and so I turned around at Shot Rock Vista on CA Hwy 88. I should have brought another layer of clothing.

I attempted to come home on the Mormon Emigrant Trail road, but it is still closed on the eastern end. I had thought it might be open as it is obvious that snowmobile season has ended. I'm guessing it won't open until the end of May as originally scheduled.
