Morocco 2017. Part 1

Goodbye Europe! A new continent is waiting for us!

Since the motorcycle was placed at our friends in Granada, we flew through Barcelona exactly there.
In Granada we were met by a familiar Spaniard, we had breakfast. A unique person, who knows excellent restaurants all over Spain. Riding with him is dangerous for the waist. :) Then the epic with the motorcycle began. It was placed in the underground garage for 5 months. As a result, the battery is discharged (now I know that it was necessary to take off the clamps). It was necessary to go to the neighboring village to pick up the charge for the moto battery. While it was charging, we went to the coast - the city Nerja.

The most important attraction is the café, where you pay 8 euros once for a plate of paella. And then eat it as much as you want. You can come up with a plate even 5 times - they will put you more and wish a pleasant appetite. Local Spaniards do so. At first, parents eat, and children are playing, then children eat and parents drink.
Paella is delicious, although I'm not a big fan of it.

The battery eventually turned out to be dead. I replaced the battery in a keychain, then, barely at 9.30 p.m. on Sunday, I bought a new battery that at least suits the size of my motorcycle.
In Granada, I booked Casa Bomba in the Albasin quarter, with some fantastic views of the Alhambra. A chic hotel, with an estimate of more than 9.2 on Booking.com. But we did not get there. :)
We spent the night with friends, then picked up in the morning and drove to Alhyhires where we were waiting for a ferry to Africa. On the way, I realized that we are late for this ferry. I had to ride fast.
I've traveled around the Ronda on a motorcycle more than once, but it's always been in winter. And now I was on the road Antequera - Ronda - Malaga in May. This is a real motorcycle paradise. But we were running of time, so I didn’t stop to take photos.
Here for the first time I felt that I did not have enough power on a loaded bike. After 160 km / h it goes badly.
Arriving by ferry in time, it turned out that the ferry had not even come yet. As a result, we waited another hour for the departure.
Granada - Antequera - Ronda - Alhuires – the mileage is about 250 km.

Gibraltar, I was here on the New Year.

About the ferry.
The way takes 1.5 hours. You pass the border guard on the ferry, customs takes 15 minutes. Round-trip tickets for two people + a motorcycle back and forth costs 109 euros. Return ticket was with an open date.
I don’t advise you to go to Tangier. There are huge traffic jams and a very busy port. Tangier Med is 40 km from Tangier and absolutely free.
The first kilometers through Morocco.

We reached Shefshuen (it’s about 150 km from Tangier Med). In the first hotel with amenities on the floor I was offered drags.
We checked in the second hotel, where the amenities are in the room, but behind the curtain.

In the evening, I did not take any photo. I tried a lot of different things in the cafe and on the street. Including bamboo juice (a very strange thing).
In the morning we went for a walk around the blue town Chefshuen.

Yes, Africa.

This is the only bong I saw in Morocco for the whole week.
