The Alps. Part 11

Day 9

Good morning weather, but it's somehow sad at heart. From this day my journey home begins, it seems I should be happy, but sadly, probably because of that the journey is coming to an end, and just like yesterday I closed the garage, threw the keys into my pocket and left.
Morning coffee, farewell and on the way

Today I want to visit Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen was formed in 1935, on the eve of the Olympic Games of 1936, by the merger of two ancient settlements - Garmisch and Partenkirchen. The confluence occurred contrary to the opinion of the inhabitants and the old toponyms persist - Garmisch is called the western part of the community, and Partenkirchen is the eastern part. Between each other parts of the community are separated by the railway, connected by road and pedestrian tunnels, laid under a railway branch. The older part is Partenkirchen, based on the site of the ancient Roman military camp Partanum.

In 1936 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the IV Winter Olympic Games were held. The Winter Olympic Games of 1940 could also be held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, but were canceled because of the start of the war.

In general, I liked the city, it is beautiful, but a large number of tourists do not give a chance "to breathe", and I want to appear again in that quiet town of the Swiss Alps.

Day 10 - 11 - 12
The way home.

Epilogue
It was the first solo journey to such a great distance and time, there were a lot of thoughts and fears, but I can say with confidence, this was the most emotional journey. When you go alone you completely leave your comfort zone and completely immerse yourself in a new country, the problems themselves find solutions, the road gives a lot of emotions and impressions, and just need to say there is no fear and doubt.
Total:
Passed 5200km
Average consumption by computer 3.8 liters
Estimated cost 900EUR for 12 days
The myth about the reliability of Gooses (BMW bikes) was dispelled. The generator burned
