Just was scrolling my gallery on the phone and found this photos from my last year trip.
Some times bike can take to some really weird places. )))

I found this monument literally in the middle of nowhere. And it says that 26th of September 1967 in this this forest was hunting world first astronaut and hero of Soviet Union - Yuri Gagarin.

Well I understand that Gagarin is a true hero to be first astronaut... But building a monument just because he was in that forest. And why they than not marked each and every tree on which he peed?

But apotheosis was that I found in 20 meters away. There was this sign:

And it says hunting is prohibited. ???

My best guess is that Gagarin was extremely successful on that hunt and they are still restoring population of animals in the forest.
