Update from my shed:

I've managed to acquire (thanks Steve) a set of cases and outer covers for a T140 as a mock up so I can properly set up the new foot peg, gear change and brake locations. Even though it's hollow and there's nothing in there it looks great - almost like the bike has it's soul back. Unfortunately the parts are pretty well shot, so I think once I'm happy with the layout I'll throw them back into the pool for others to rescue.

I now need to sort out a decent table as the weight of the bike increases. Another job for the list..........
