Honda VFR400R 1995 → V4 Restoration Project "Pocket Rocket" Part 4(4)

The results of the first outing showed the following: The clutch behaves inadequately.

As I suspected, the release bearing with NC-30 doesn't fit the 21-24 engine, it's too long. I had to temporarily install shims under the left star cover (where the cable drive is installed), and now everything finally works. Great exhaust sound, good torque, and a brake wedge)))

So now I'm looking for caliper repair kits. No results yet, but the clear culprit is the dust seals:

They're in terrible condition; it was already visible during disassembly.

By reducing pressure and loosening the pads, I managed to get home anyway, but towards the end of the journey, it started backfiring into the muffler and losing power. We conclude that the performance of this fuel pump is insufficient. I've already ordered a new electric one from AliExpress.

While the fuel pump is on its way, I'm continuing with the exterior, looking for the left plastic triangle.

Status for today:

To be continued...
