Brake Upgrade

This is something I've done on almost every motorcycle I've owned: braided stainless brake lines. It's a cheap upgrade that's easy to install, gives a noticeable improvement in braking feel, and looks great. It's an especially cheap and easy upgrade on the GB because there is only one brake line to the single front rotor. The rear brake is a mechanical drum.

First the old fluid is pumped out. This brake fluid may have been 22 years old.

Then the caliper came off for some cleanup

The master cylinder reservoir was full of gunk. It got a good scrub as well.
