Kawasaki is rumored to be working on a supercharged cruiser motorcycle that is likely to be called the Eliminator H2.s The news comes after a render was leaked by a Japanese website.
The rendered image shows a motorcycle with a design similar to the Vulcan S. It sports an American cruiser-styled headlamp cowl and a long tank that flows into a low, single-seat. The cruiser also sports a cropped fender that is meant to show off the fat rear tire. And by looking at the placement of the handlebar, raked front forks, and forward-set footpegs, the Kawasaki cruiser could offer a power-cruiser like riding stance to complete its appeal.
However, the most interesting bit is the massive intake scoop that feeds the supercharged, 998cc, in-line four-cylinder engine with cool air. The engine would be tuned keeping in mind the cruiser character. And even if the motor churns out around 180bhp; almost 20bhp lesser than the Z H2, the Kawasaki cruiser would still be the most powerful motorcycle in its segment.
Kawasaki currently has a supersport, tourer, and streetfighter in that range, so the possibility of the Japanese bikemaker working on a supercharged cruiser is high. Nevertheless, there is no word about the exact launch timeline of the motorcycle and could debut either this year at the 2020 Tokyo Motor Show or sometime in 2021.
