It was in 1968, when the first Montesa Cota was launched, a model exclusively designed for trial practice. & Its revolutionary design, with a saddle-tank assembly in one single piece, the Cota 247 achieved a great impact and won the prestigious design award "Delta de Plata de Diseño Industrial", starting an unending saga.

Since its first version in 1968-designed by Leopoldo Milá and Jordi Ros with the technical contributions of rider Pedro Pi-, until the limited edition presented this 2018 to commemorate its 50th anniversary, the exhibition shows a total 44 units mass produced throughout all these years.

It also includes a section dedicated to Winner Motorbikes (Ulf Karson, Marc Colomer, Dougie Lampkin, Laia Sanz, Fujinami, Toni Bou) and some very special models, such as the Cota 311 with which Gabino Renales performed an incredible moment at the opening of the 1992 Paralympc Games in Barcelona, a prototype designed by the great Antonio Cobas or a rare 247 that was adapted for enduro, amongst others.
