Finally found my new ride...

So after a number of interim bikes post crash.. I finally found my new ride! Kawasaki Ninja 1000 ?

After the sad realisation that a super sports was not going to be possible with the riding position aggravating my injuries and my inherent love of long distance rides meant I had to find a balance of sporty looks, power and comfortable seating position! Having been a die-hard Suzuki fan for year's I was disheartened at the thought that a gixxer was not going to be in my future... I was reluctant to give the Ninja a look... But I am now very glad that I did.

First weekend together and we did just under 1200km! Despite the uncomfortable seat (investment in a gel touring seat is a must!) and the absence of heated grips (the Versys spoilt me) I am incredibly impressed by the smooth engine, light frame, acceleration and handling in the twisties! Looking forward to more adventures ?
