There is saying in the countryside that "Always expect the unexpected in the Himalayas" .

This is what happens when you get stuck in a thunder storm in the Himalayas. It started with a few flakes and with in an hour it made us stuck there and we had to leave our bikes on the road and looked for a shelter. It was so remote that you could hardly fine one, fortunate enough to get a corner in a old hut and later on rescued by Airforce.
