Sea of Clouds!

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐮𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐢!

This viewpoint is situated in the Santichon Chinese Village, 6 km outside of Pai, Northern Thailand.

𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬: 24 hours / 7 days a week / Dawn to dusk!

𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭: 20 baht entry fee (and just 100 baht if you would like to camp there).

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞: The easiest method is via scooter/motorbike (which can be hired in Pai town, if you do not have your own transport). Otherwise talk to your hotel/guesthouse or visit a local tourist agent (plenty in Pai) about arranging transport to take you there.

𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 & 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤: Hot tea and warm snacks are available as are packaged tea and souvenirs.

A must-see on the northern Thailand list! Especially during rainy season.

𝑰𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒐 I set off in the dark during a thunderstorm to see this stunning view emerge at sunrise. This, in my opinion, is the best way to enjoy this view. Especially at this time (Rainy Season) because the clouds are spectacular!
