A small spray of brake cleaner, wedge in the spray nozzle straw between handle bar and grip, it doesn't need to go in far, It will creep enough to twist and pull off the old grips easily. Putting on the new grips the same way, spray a little in the grips and you can easily slip them on and put them the way you like it. The brake cleaner is volatile, within a minute the new grips will be just as fixated as the old ones. Some grips are bolted with a very small allen key screw, those just slip on over the handle bar and are screwed tight. (Don't overtighten)
