This year's motorcycles
MotoGP photographers have revealed some photos of this year's bikes
This shot of Aprilia's clever 2 in 1 clutch and rear brake lever is brilliant. You can clearly see the double-circuited system and the hydraulic actuator that forces the system to switch between operating the rear brake and the clutch
Maverick has been using this system since the start of the season. Of course, after he uses the clutch for the start, he has to switch the system to the rear brake before he reaches turn 1. That large silver two-element push lever is what Maverick uses to do that
KTM's aero covers and add-ons for the front wheel and brake discs are very coolWe love the angular shapes of them. The aero add-on is used to help generate a slight bit more ground effect to find front end grip, but it's also used to clean up the air flow that goes to the side fairing just behind
A shot of the 'warming up' screen that the mechanics use. It has all the info they need to check that pressures, temperatures and sensors are all in good order
WP Suspension have brought some very large extensions for the front forks this year. They've brought extensions before, but nothing this big. This shot clearly shows just how large they are and probably Brad and Jack getting very close to touching them with their helmet at points. The idea is that the extensions help with small bump sensitivity
The left handlebar of the Honda is equally as busy as the Aprilia and all the other manufacturers for that matter
Yamaha's long exhaust looks really clean. The testing version at the start of the year showed all the cuts and welds where Akrapovic had clearly fabricated the curves and bends in the exhaust. The final version they use now is much cleaner
KTM's front fender wing has been somewhat of a mystery item so far. We've seen it in the tests but not during race weekends. The only exception to that rule is when Dani Pedrosa used it during his Spanish GP wildcard weekend
