Which helmet is best - full-face helmet, half-face helmet, or no helmet at all?

I know there's always a lot of debate when helmets are brought up - whether full face, half, or no helmet at all is the best way to go - and I know most of the arguments I see against full face are that they're uncomfortable and they limit FOV.

Well, I had to ride without a visor on my full face helmet tonight, and I don't understand how yall do it.

The wind was louder than my bike, I could feel my eyelashes blowing back, I got hit with every bug flying past and every rock any car kicked up, and my whole face is still red and hot from the wind burn.

Not telling anyone how to ride, but my vision is definitely worse squinting through the wind, and I'm much more comfortable with a nice hard barrier between my skin and the rest of the world
