In 1903, George Wyman became the first person to cross the United States by motor vehicle

He did so on a 1903 California motorcycle, nearly identical to this machine. The 1905 Yale features a small displacement 90cc engine with an atmospheric intake valve and transmits power to the wheel via a flat belt.
