Good as New

So I got this idea in my head to start teaching someone besides my Mom to ride an couple of weeks ago.
This potential new rider did well on the first few passes with starting and stopping, but she struggled a little with throttle control and the friction point for releasing the clutch. She essentially wasn't giving it enough gas as she released the clutch and stalled several times.
I wasn't worried she was fine every time once she got moving, and she seemed comfortable enough steering and stopping.
Then there was her final take-off.
She whiskey-throttled it, took off spinning the drive, and fishtailed right over the handlebars. I didn't know the Rebel 300 was powerful enough to spin like that!
This all happened in our front yard, so there wasn't a lot of speed involved. Baby sister was okay with what I described to be only minor injuries. The bike suffered a dented gas tank, and a twisted handlebar. Looking at it now, you'd never even know it had been through all this.
The best part is my baby sister still wants to learn to ride. We've decided to plan to get her a Grom when I get the money.
