Nice rig! Always wanted a Ural. It would be nice for tooling the back roads of Utah.

Don't even think about it. I know 2 people who bought these new and had nothing but trouble. If you go on facebook and search for Ural Guy you will find the story of a Canadian rider who set off to ride to Argentina. He had so many disasters between Canada and Nevada that he ended up being towed out of Death Valley and he crushed his rig in a scrap yard. Seroiusly, it was that bad he ended up going back home, buying a Honda Africa twin and is now on his original trip much later than planned. His little Ural adventure cost him $25000 CDN only to end up setting the car crushing machine on fire as the bike exploded in the end. Sorry to burst your bubble but these are really badly built and way over priced.

Goldfinger, Thanks, I don’t plan on buying one though. I’d like to hire one and take it out for the day

Natalie Dëë, They don’t steer like normal. Can be a lot of work to control

I have to agree with Goldfinger, I own a 1999 Ural that i purchased a few years ago and, had I known then what i know now, I'd never have bought it.
It's upsetting and frustrating to know that Ural has the potential of a great product if only they would've spent more time with the quality and craftsmanship in the engine.
