Like thongs for knee sliders, tape around worn tyres etc... But this might be the best. Why buy expensive aftermarket sets when a trip to the hardware will do... No more boots slipping off pegs... Oh,...

But it seemed to work itself out eventually. (Fork seal was leaking a little bit though, maybe some dirt (dry mud) from a previous trip). Will try and clean out the seal before the next ride....
