Road to Imatra(Finland)

After the races in Hengelo, which went very well by the way, we have a pause of two months at our race calendar. The main plan was to catch another training session in the mean while, but unfortunately because of the budget problem, we had to cancel. In Hengelo we had some problem with our breaking claws, had to fix new ones on the Saturday evening. They were well for the races on Sunday, but not for long-term use. So that didn’t work out quite well for the budget.
Besides that is the trip to Finland a very expansive one. Only the boat to Helsinki is going to cost €1600,-. Happily we could share those with a college at our Supersport championship, Davy Thoonen.

In the meantime there was a big Event in Assen, town next door. There was the Dutch TT, meaning one big motorcycle party through the city. And in the weekend after, races of MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 on the TT track.
For the support of the event, we had our bike downtown in a clothes store. One of our sponsors made some great posters for give away. We had such great reactions, lots of people loving the bike. It was our first, but for sure not the last time!

At least the bike is ready for our trip to Finland, next week! We prepared the new breaking claws, checked the clutch and got new oil. Also replaced some bodywork after Ilja fell in Hengelo.

Now have to prepare all the gear, pack our clothes and get ready for the races in Finland (Imatranajo) We ride our own IRRC championship. But we will also ride along with an open 600cc cup!
We are really excited and I will make a report of the weekend when we return!
