The new race season in a new team!

After the good performance in Frohburg(D), despite the crash, the team(Performance Racing Achterhoek) where Ilja drove for, asked if he would join the team as a new driver.
He stays in IRRC(International Road Racing Championship) Supersport (600cc) and the current driver, Joey den Besten, who was champion two times in this class, scrolls to Superbikes(1000cc).

It's a great chance to ride for this experienced, respected and expert team.
They did several years of IRRC, Northwest 200 and one year Isle of Man!
They've got way better material than we have at home. Including a spare bike, and lots of spare parts.

For Ilja it will be a whole lot different on the Yamaha. The bike is way quicker than the Honda used to be.
We know for sure it is going to be an spectacular season, unfortunatly it will be without our recognizable purple colour.

The benefits of driving for such a well known team is that we have the race suit complete allready from our sponsors.
We got helmets from LS2 and the suit from 4StreetRacing, that was a big surprise for us!

I will keep you posted on the progress and i will put the events in, in a bit.. Let us know if you're going to be anywhere!!
