H-D Snow Hill Climb - the king of a snowy mountain

From 25 to 28 of January the world's winter extreme games Winter X Games 2018 were held in Aspen, Colorado. This year, motorcyclists and snowmobiles were among skiers, snowboarders and other fans of the winter extreme.

In addition, the first time in the history of Winter X Games, a new medal discipline, I mean Harley-Davidson Snow Hill Climb, was added in the program of the event. The point of the new race is simple - to drive a motorcycle equipped with studded tires to the hill as fast as possible. According to the technical regulations, only motorcycles with elongated pendulums of the rear wheel and engine power from 70 to 90 h.p. were allowed to participate in the competitions. The H-D Snow Hill Climb race took place on the final day of extreme games and was held on the slope of the SuperPipe ski slope. The winner of the Winter X Games and the first king of the snow mountain was Travis Whitlock - the 9-time champion of the racing series Great American Championship Professional Motorcycle Hill Climb. A professional participant of Hillclimb-racing Logan Chipala became a silver medalist of Harley-Davidson Snow Hill Climb. Also another pro Austin Cardwell got a silver medal.
