For those in the UK, Ireland or Europe, here is a fun bit of trivia. The distance I have covered since yesterday morning, is almost 100km longer than Ireland north to south. by the time I circle back home, Iwill have ridden roughly five times the length of the UK.

For those in the U.S., I have yet to leave my home state and by the time I have circled home, having covered roughly 3100mi, I will have only visited one other state besides my home state.

My residence is almost in the geographic centre of the state of New South Wales. The state border I will cross tomorrow is the Queensland border, 437mi from my front door.

The Tropic of Capricorn is another 400mi north of that border by the most direct route and still in the state of Queensland.
