First repair (while ive owned it)

Its been a while since ive posted on here. not had much time to work on the project bikes for a while, as im trying to move house.

anyway, as the sun has shown its face again, my lovely little R6 has started to become my main transport again. apart from after 4 days of riding it, ive discovered that its a little bit poorly.

turns out, after riding it for a few days, the battery seems to be a little low, and whwn the lights are on, it cant keep up anymore and cuts the power, so bike dies.

now normally, i would think, meh, the battery is old and rubbish, probably that, apart from its a brand new battery. so i chuck the multi meter on her to see whats the crack.

bottom line is, there is no difference in the battery voltage whether the bike is running or not, so the bike isnt charging the battery. constant low volts means its not generating any power. so tomorrows job, fit a new stator and hope for the best.
