On tests in Sepang team Honda began testing a prototype with the new fairing which should improve downforce.

Last year, motorcycle Honda were completed relative to the standard fairing, but the Japanese carefully monitored the projects to Ducati and Aprilia. Hiroshi Aoyama today tested the Honda RC213V with the new fairing. The design clearly differs from the forms of the fairings, Ducati, Aprilia and Yamaha. Private tests team can test any fairings, but must be submitted for review to the technical Director, who will assess their compliance with the rules.

Ducati today tested GP18 without wings efforts of Casey Stoner and Michele Pirro, KTM and Aprilia were doing last year's prototypes.
