Akrapovič has appointed Colin Edwards as the brand’s first official motorcycle brand ambassador. The American motorcycle racer, who retired from professional racing in 2014 (a 22-year career), turned out to be the perfect candidate for the ambassador position.
In 2000, Colin won the World Superbike title on an Akrapovič-equipped Castrol Honda RC51. It was Akrapovič’s first world title. In 2018, the brand has over 100 world champions across various racing disciplines.
Colin Edwards made an important contribution to the brand’s success, and Akrapovič chose Edwards to spread the company’s “#TrustedByChampions” ethos.
“It’s an honor to be an Akrapovič brand ambassador,” Colin Edwards says. “When I visited Slovenia a few months ago, I was very impressed with what I saw at the factories. Akrapovič is a top-level company, which does everything at the highest level. ”
