This bike was built for a returning customer, who is crazy about street fighters, we already build his R1 street fighter. This time Wimoto took on his completely stock GSXR 1100 from 1996 for build something aggressive and bad-ass!

The entire bike was disassembled. it had only 16.000 km on the clock so the engine was in mint condition! Company went for an all black aggressive café fighter look. With a normal riding position but still street-fighter looks.

Specifications:

  • Modified frame

The original frame was first of all chopped and stripped of all unnecessary parts. Furthermore a new subframe was constructed for the new aluminum seat.

  • Custom seat

A wish of the client was to have a seat pipe! A matching seat was constructed out of aluminium sheet with a snug fit around the Yoshimura silencer.

  • Exhaust system

A custom 4 in 2 in 1 stainless steel exhaust system was made. A big wish of the client was to have a seat pipe. It provides the bike not only with a awesome sound, it also gives a lot more punch. Together with the open airfilters, it reached an awesome 152hp on the rear wheel on the dyno.

  • Brakes

We did a front fork swap, using the legs of an Yamaha R1 and custom made triple clamps. External aluminium covers give the front fork a massive look, and with new radial brakes this bike stops better than ever.

  • Swingarm

A one of a kind WiMoto chromoly swingarm was build to give the bike something special. The rims a a Yamaha R1 were modified to match the front and fit in the swingwarm.

  • Handlebars

A custom chromoly fatbar was made with an integrated motogadget miniscope.
