Polaris Japan, a distributor of the oldest American motorcycle brand in India, has released the 2023 Indian Challenger Elite. The Elite, a premium model of the Indian Challenger, a series of bagger-style bikes sold by India, is announced to be limited to only 150 units worldwide. While the number of units introduced in Japan has not yet been announced, only one unit was introduced for the 2022 model year, so the next model is also expected to be available in small numbers.

Pursuit of ultimate style and exclusivity

Indian has given the "Elite" moniker to the premium edition of each model, but the Elite was first available on the Challenger, a large bagger-style cruiser, in June 2022. For the newly announced 2023 model year, the color has been changed to Sapphire Blue Smoke. The new blue base color with black smoke and titanium metallic accents further enhances the premium quality feel. Prices and the number of models to be introduced in Japan have not yet been announced.

The standard Challenger model is powered by a large-displacement liquid-cooled V-twin 1767cc engine.
With an output of 90 kW (122 hp) and maximum torque of 178 Nm, this high-performance bagger is capable of powerful cruising with its big body. Electronic controls such as 3-stage Riding Mode Control, Fox electronic rear suspension, and Smart Lean Technology provide greater control over the heavyweight bodywork.

A full array of advanced accessories are also available, including adaptive LED headlights, LED driving lights, adjustable flared windscreen, heated grips, and a 100-watt output, 6.5-inch power audio system to support touring comfort. This is truly a premium cruiser that India is proud to offer.
