POLARIS JAPAN, importer and distributor of INDIAN MOTORCYCLE, has announced the new "Scout Rogue" model in the "Scout" series. Founded in 1901, INDIAN is the oldest manufacturer in the U.S. and developed the world's first V-twin engine, and although it temporarily ceased operations in the 1950s due to financial difficulties, after being acquired by POLARIS Industries in 2011, it has released a series of new models.

The "Scout" was an iconic model introduced by INDIAN in 1920, a name traditionally given to successive models. It is currently the latest cruiser to undergo a major renewal in 2015 and is powered by a liquid-cooled V-twin 69 cubic-inch engine (1133cc). Previously available in 3 variants - Scout, Scout Bobber, and Scout Bobber Twenty - the addition of the Scout Rogue brings the total of 4 models.

A variety of specs are retained from the previous model. Based on the blacked-out body and engine, a bikini cowl and Ape hanger handlebar are installed. The new model has an edgy and hard atmosphere. Meanwhile, for improved performance, the motorcycle is equipped with an adjustable big-back rear shock that allows compression adjustment at the turn of a knob, LED headlights with excellent visibility with 15-beam illumination, and other features for greater comfort.

In addition, smoked LED blinkers and an auxiliary tachometer with shift light, which are available as options, can be added to pursue a more distinctive style.
